A Birthday Assessment

So my birthday was a few days ago, and although not where I would really like to be in terms of my weight loss, I am down about 8 pounds so far, which in the grand scheme of the world is about 2 pounds a month.  Even so, I am feeling better, I keep using my DirectLife thingy (I see Fitbit is still having delivery delays), and I’m working also on getting back to submitting my food and exercise into DailyBurn so I can track things better again.

Yea, I know, I made some excuses for April, because I was on a decent path at the end of March to break 200 by the end of April, but I know the walking has helped at least keep me in check at the 203.4ish mark.

Things, though, are better, the horizon looks brighter, and lunchtime walks are more plentiful thanks to the weather! I know I can kick the 200’s by the end of May, in fact I’m hoping to do it by the end of next week, and it will simply take paying attention to things again, especially the quantity of my food choices more (Yes, I’m still eating Count Chocula, but I’m back to the normal sized bowl instead of the mega breakfast bowl), so sometimes it take a little reflection, and a43rd birthday, to kick you back in the ass.  Yup, my butt hurts.
