Okay, There Are Two D-Day's.

So yesterday I wrote about how I have until early March to get some weight lost, some blood pressure lost, and just losing some stuff, but then this morning I was reminded that there is another D-Day for the weight loss plan, and that is sometime in October because that is when my fiance and I are looking to get married.  There was her talk about losing weight, because that is what girls to when their wedding date is nearly set and they want to “look good in front of 130” some odd people.  And then there is just both of our building up attitudes this year to get healthier.  So as we went out to dinner today we started plotting things a little more about both of our weight loss plans.  I have to say that it will help having someone as close to me as my fiance on my journey, but as this is my weight loss plan, and she will probably have her own ideas about a weight loss plan, it should be interesting to see how the two plans collide.

What I’m thinking, though, is that I think both of us can help each other.  She will have ideas she has heard/read/practiced in her past that worked that might not work for her anymore but I that can incorporate into my plan, and I will have ideas that I have heard/read/practiced that don’t work for me anymore, but might work for her.  It will be interesting to see how we both meld together, but I think, as we have been a really good fit for each other, I think this will be another step in our relationship where our being able to work together will make both of us better.  Actually, she doesn’t need to get any better, she’s perfect the way she is, but I know she’ll be able to help and support me.

Our wedding will be our plan, but…

This is my weight loss plan… Get your own!
