210.2 - I Don't Believe It, Yet.

So this morning, even before I pooped, I decided to weigh myself.  Now, don’t get me wrong, since my weigh-in back at the beginning of the year I have stepped on my scale, but pretty much I didn’t want to take too much stock into things, and I don’t really want to take that much stock into my 210.2 this morning, but damn, it felt good, and probably would have felt better,maybe beating the 210 mark, had I pooped.  But there it was, 210.2 pounds, and that means that in a couple of weeks I almost lost a couple of pounds, which is really the plan I’m working on, especially in these cold, winter months.  I wanted to kind of maintain things during the holidays, and I did, and with the new year I just want to keep progressing downward to my goal, and I’m doing that, and for these first 15 days, it’s been kind of fun.  I mean, there I am, every day with my little DirectLife thingy, letting me know when I’ve been to sedentary, but showing me how even just walking the dog, or dancing to the Ke$ha “Tik Tok” song while I’m doing some dishes, can help.

So, after 15 days, without really exercising, by just watching my diet a little better and being just a little more active, I’m down almost two pounds.  It feels good, I can’t wait for it to warm up so I don’t have an excuse for not taking lunchtime walks, and yes, next week, I do plan on giving that 10 minute workout thing a try, because in my weight loss plan I wait two (or maybe three) weeks to start exercising.
